Get Started in Wonder Wars! This is how everything works.

Wonder Wars is strategy game where you have one hero and six troops, all of them with different abilities, and you have to defeat your enemy in the arena. But that’s not all!

In Maravilla World, where Wonder Wars takes place, you can do a lot of more things. And we are going to help you with your first steps in the game.

Player VS Player

As we already said, the core gameplay is our PVP feature. You can unlock more than 100 characters (heroes, troops and creatures) with different abilities so that you can create the best team possible.

Choose your playstyle (aggressive, defensive, tanks, healers…) and defeat your enemies in the arena to get to the top of the leaderboards.

In the main menu you will find a Trophy button, where you will be able to check the rankings, both global and from your region! In the beginning you will find it a bit difficult to reach the top, but don’t worry! You will get more trophies if your opponent has more than you.

Your first goal has to be reaching 1500 trophies. Why? Because to unlock all heroes and troops, you need to reach those trophies. Once you get them, you will be able to find all characters (except Creatures) in chests. We will talk about Chests later in the post.

When you are above 1500 trophies you will also find more difficult players to beat, don’t be scared! Matchmaking can be tougher here, but you will win more trophies if you enemy has many more than you, and you will lose less trophies if you don’t win, so you just need to practice and find the team that makes you win and be comfortable.

Every time you win, you will receive trophies and a chest if you have a chest slot available. You can get all types of chests, but it will be difficult to get the Legendary ones!

Battle System in Wonder Wars

Every new Season and Split, players with more than 1500 trophies will suffer a reset:

Split reset: 1 rank down.
Season reset: 1 division down.

So don’t worry if you see your opponents very high in the ranking, you will eventually catch them!

PVE - Campaign

The best option to train and get instant chests and rewards is the Campaign mode. You have 100 levels to test your ability versus enemies from all over Maravilla World.

We recommend you to try the first levels of the Campaign and then go to PVP to get those 1500 trophies as explained before. Once you have those trophies, you can come back to the Campaign to get rewards in every level and try to discover new characters.

The higher the level, the more difficult it will be, so don’t worry if your streak ends in Campaign. Try to find a new team to win, or level up your hero you have more HP. We will explain this in the Collection section.

Every 10 levels you will go to a new Faction from Maravilla World and you will face new enemies. Good luck with your adventure!

PVE - Dungeons

The other PVE mode you can try in Wonder Wars is this one: The Dungeons.

Here you will have an 8-game-challenge where you will create your team before starting, and you won’t be able to change it until you finish (lose or draw). So choose wisely your hero and troops to complete this challenge.

Things you need to know about the Dungeons:

After you complete every floor, you will be able to spin the wheel. In this wheel you can get resources, more HP for your hero in the next floors or less HP for the enemy hero in the next floor. You can double the reward too!
You get the final reward after you complete the last level. This reward can be a Common, Epic or Legendary Chest.
A draw counts as losing too, but you can Resurrect once per challenge.

Chests

There are a lot of Chests in Wonder Wars. And all of them will give you resources:

Wooden Chest. This is the Chest that you will open most of the times. You can open it instantly by watching an ad, or if you have the no-ads active, you will open it directly without waiting! You will receive mainly troops’ cards and gold. There’s a small chance you can discover a new character in this chest.
Common Chest. This Chest takes 8h to open and will give you gold, troop cards and, at least, one hero’s card. It also has a small percentage of discovering a new character.
Epic Chest. This Chest takes 12h to open and will give you gold, gems, hero cards and troop cards. It has a bigger percentage of discovering a new character. It costs 400 gems in the Shop, or you can open it instantly with one key.
Legendary Chest. The best one. It takes 24h to open and will give you gold, gems, hero and troop cards. It has a 50% of discovering a new character. It costs 800 gems or one key in the shop.
Hero Chest. This one grants you a new hero if you have unlocked it with trophies. It can only be bought in the Shop with 600 gems or one key. It will also give you more cards from other heroes and gold.
Troop Chest. The same as the Hero Chest, but for troops. It can only be bought in the Shop with 500 gems or one key. It will also give you more cards from other troops and gold.
Guild Chests. They are like the Common, Epic and Legendary Chests, but you will receive them by joining a Guild in the Orumit City and making at least 10 points that week. Get Guild Points every week and receive your reward every Monday in you mailbox.
Victory Chest. In the PVP Menu, you will find a Chest below your avatar. Every win in PVP will give you a crown, and with 3 crowns you will be able to open this Victory Chest. It resets every day, so don’t forget to win your 3 games per day!

Battle Pass

The Battle Pass! You will find it in the PVP menu, and it resets every season. It has a free version, and a Premium one. Play PVP games and earn points per win, draw and defeat. Completing the Dungeons also give you points.

In this Battle Pass you will find a lot of resources, like gold, gems and keys, profile customization, ingredients for Creatures, and chests!

Also in the Premium version, you will go no-ads for the whole season! Get the Battle Pass and speed up your account level.

Progression

Earning trophies in PVP not only lets you climb in the leaderboard. It will also grant you some rewards.

Click on the Progression book icon and follow the trophy path! Gold, gems, chests, profile customization, character unlocks, new arenas… All that awaits!

Every new Split and Season, trophies above 1500 suffer a reset (rank down in the Split, and a division down in the Season). And you will be able to collect again those rewards if you take those trophies back.

Don’t forget to claim all!

Collection

In this menu you will find all the characters (heroes, troops and creatures) both locked and unlocked. You will also see and equip your emotes and pets.

Let’s start talking about the characters:

As we explained before, you can unlock characters in different stages of your Trophy path. You can check how many trophies you need for a certain hero or troop in the Collection.

Once you have unlocked and discovered in a chest, you can go to the Collection to level it up.

Levelling characters up will give you XP for the Orumit City. In the case of heroes, they will also gain HP. And, both heroes and troops will unlock missions/statistics where you will be able to earn gems and their special emote. Check it out in the Collection!

Also when you reach level 10 on any character, you will unlock their Avatar!

Now, let’s talk about emotes:

You can get character emotes by completing their missions. You can also get common emotes in the Lucky Gatcha (explained in the following section). And there are also rare emotes in the Shop that you can buy with gems.

Also, some game events like Halloween and Xmas will allow you to get special stickers by completing some missions!

And yes, you need to reach 300 trophies to be able to use them in games. And the last thing: you can mute your opponent’s emotes in the settings of a match. Don’t be a toxic player!

Pets:

You can get different pets in game events. Pets are just cosmetics, although we are working on a new feature for them. They won’t give players an advantage in a PVP match, but they will probably help you get more resources in the future.

Plus you can show them to your enemies to be cooler.

Creatures:

Creatures are a new kind of troops. There are 6 species, and every species have 7 different versions (one for every Faction from Maravilla World).

This feature is for more advanced players, so don’t worry if you cannot get them from the very beginning, you’ll make it later.

Lucky Gatcha

This Lucky Gatcha machine will give you resources every day! Get emotes, gold, gems, character cards, and the lucky star to get the jackpot.

Lucky Gatcha resets every day. You can get up to 3 stars each day, but you can also claim the Jackpot reward with 1 or 2 starts. Just be sure that you claim it before the day ends, or you will lose it!

You have 1 free roll each day, plus 3 additional “free” rolls watching an ad per extra roll. Once you have rolled it those 4 times, you can keep trying by spending gems per extra roll. If you get the Jackpot it may be worth it!

You can improve the % of getting a star in the City, which is the next section that we will explain.

Orumit City

The Orumit City! The place were our beloved Orumits live, and the place where you can improve your account and get extra resources.

The main building, the Castle in the top, if the Guild’s Castle. There you can find or create a guild. Remember that you can get guild chests by getting at least 10 points every week, and getting the necessary guild points for every chest.

Check the menu when you belong to a guild to understand everything!

You can also upgrade your guild’s level by donating gems. Everybody can donate gems, but only the guild leader can upgrade it. Also, only the guild leader can send messages in the guild and kick other members.

Be careful, if you are kicked out of any guild, you won’t be able to enter again to that one. But, if you leave the guild, you will be able to join again.

The Magical Research Center, the building at the left of the Castle, is the place where you can upgrade some researches to get more gold, gems and cards in chests and Lucky Gatcha. You can also improve the percentage of getting a star for the Jackpot. And, if you miss extra deck (team) slots, this is the place where you can upgrade it to have more!

Then, the last building on the left would be The Mine. This can also be improved in the Magical Research Center, and in The Mine you can get free gold and gems every 8h (or less). Free resources!

Then we have the Orumit’s Village. You will need to upgrade this building to upgrade or unlock other things in Wonder Wars, so it is also important. Also, it is the place where our Orumits rest!

And the other building on the right would be the Creatures’ Caravan. This is an expensive building, we know, but it is for more advanced players. You will be able to unlock it once you fully understand and master Wonder Wars. In this building, you will be able to create your own troops with ingredients that you will get in chests (you can only receive ingredients in chests when you have unlocked this building).

Mix four ingredients and get a Creature! Every creature has its own recipe, that is shared with the Community in our socials, so ask them for the recipe you need, they will help you!

Also, once you have discovered a creature, you can check its real recipe in the Collection by clicking on that creature. That way you can use the recipe again and get more cards to level it up.

To finish with the city, we have 2 Orumits working.

In the middle, you can find the Builder Orumit. Tap on this Orumit to upgrade the buildings. You will need it to complete some requirements!

And the Adventurer Orumit. This little guy really wants rocks! He would give you anything (even a key!) for some yummy rocks. Tap on him to discover the weekly missions (they reset every Monday), and use the rocks you get to buy the rewards.

Profile Customization

Let’s get back to the PVP menu. Tap on your Avatar and you will see the Profile Menu. Here you can tap again on the pencil to edit your Avatar, Avatar Frame, Profile Card, Title, Pet, Arena and Pedestal.

You can get Customization items in the Shop, Game Events, Campaign and Tournaments.

You can also check your stats, such as your total victories in PVP, your current rank and the total Wonders (heroes, troops and creatures) you have.

Keep scrolling to see the Progression and the Match History! Match History is linked to the device, and you will be able to see the replays of your last 10 games. Share your best wins with us and tag @WonderWarsGame in X!

Friends

The last thing we will cover in this article is: Friends! Yes, you can add up to 100 friends in Wonder Wars and challenge them to see who is the true legend.

Tap on the menu at the right of the PVP one and check your friends list and add other people! Wonder Wars is enjoyed the most when you play versus your colleagues, so don’t miss this opportunity!
